Our home is in the Armoury district of Vancouver. In the area we have access to everything that you might need.
Granville Island
- A large community area consisting of restaurants, markets, wine shops, specialty breweries, specialty retailers, art galleries, community centre, playgrounds, tennis courts, live theatres, and a specialty hotel. Learn more about Granville Island.
False Creek
- A vital community in the center of Vancouver with a 10 kilometre walking, cycling path that you can access four blocks from our place. This path takes you to Creekside Village, around to Yaletown, and along to Sunset beach then over the buried bridge and back home again.
Coffee Shops
- We have many coffee shops near by. Our favourites are Café Bica (great coffee and sandwiches), Beaucoup Bakery (great croissants) and 49th Parallel (great coffee and doughnuts). There is a Starbucks just across Burrard Street from our home.
Restaurants
- There are about 150 different restaurants within 1 mile (2km) of our home, and an abundance of other choices throughout the city. We’ll leave a list of our current favourites and the best websites to check out for you.
